Eyelash tinting?!?

Hi there, i have fair skin and funny eyelashes. Most peoples start off dark and go lighter. But mine start off light and go darker. Which means i can't wear eyeliner as i never get the mascara close enough to my lid and therefore its really obvious. I always wear black mascara, is it worth getting my eyelashes tinted?? Does it hurt / how long does it last?? Will i be able to wear eyeliner?Eyelash tinting?!?

We use a natural dye. its vegetable based, healthier for the skin and hair. It ranges from 2 week to 6 weeks. Most people find it lasts about 4 weeks. so when its time to dye your hair again, its probably time to dye the lashes again. You can for sure wear eyeliner. it doesnt effect your makeup at all. you can still wear eyeliner and mascara just as you did before.


Talk to someone at a salon about it, and they will show you what the use, and go threw the steps with you.


its fairly simple. you lay back, they remove any makeup from the eyes, mix up the dye and apply it to your lashes. You stay like this, eyes closed for anywhere from 2 minutes (for a natural effect) to 10 minutes for a full effect.

I had this done, and the dye went into my eye! This stuff stung like mad, I couldn't open my eye for a good few hours.





I reckon it will look good on you, and you can go without mascara if you please.
Try putting on eyeliner, and I put eyeliner on my top lid as well. And don't be scared to put the mascara a little closer. Im sure you'll poke yourself in the eye a couple times, but after a while it'll be natural to you. And maybe some really light eye shawdow would help as well.
Doesn't hurt a bit - lasts about four weeks - and yes, eyeliner will be fine!

why dont you try to wear brown mascara?it's gonna be more natural and not that big difference between the lighter and darker parts. try that for start and see how it works.


it takes about 15 minutes to get your eyelashes tinted- it doesnt hurt(but only proffesionals can do it so go to a beauty salon) it lasts for up to 2 weeks and yes u can wear an eyeliner as well :)

Well tinting is a good idea to get your eyelashes all one colour. You don't say what colour your hair and eyebrows are but if you are blonde i would go for brown as it will look more natural. It doesn't hurt providing the beautician doesn't get it in your eye. It will last about 4 weeks but if your have lighter lashes it may only last for 2-3 weeks. You will still be able to wear eyeliner.


If wearing mascara rectifies the different colours of your lashes then it probably wouldn't make any difference to tint them.
